Biography
The Dixie Rhythms were formed back in 2003 as a new generation of early jazz band. The ensemble contains today's young up-and-coming players, all of whom continue to revitalise the scene with their flair, excitement and enthusiasm.
Their ability to acknowledge and reflect on the past but create a contemporary sound is what makes them one of the pre-eminent bands on the scene today. All members are full-time professionals and some of the leading musicians in their field. The Dixie Rhythms are building on a fast-growing prestigious reputation for being one of the most reliable jazz bands for hire in the UK.
The band offer a range of authentic trad jazz line-ups featuring everything from Clarinet and Trumpet to Banjo, Sousaphone and Double Bass. Whatever your budget, the band are certain to offer something that fits the bill.
We decided to hire a band very last minute for our wedding and Bands For Hire was the easiest, most useful website to find our perfect band.
