Biography
The band work closely with a selection of incredibly talented vocalists across the country who accompany them to complete their speak-easy style band.
Big Blue Moon endeavour to get guests into the swing of things with their diverse repertoire featuring everything from classic swing to modern mash-ups performed in a vintage, swinging style.
The band cover contemporary artists such as Beyonce, Daft Punk, George Ezra, Pharrell Williams, but also perform a selection of rock 'n' roll hits too.
The band have a wealth of experience performing across the UK and Europe having played at the London Jazz festival, Langnau Jazz Nights in Switzerland, The 606 Club London as well as for clients such as GQ magazine and Prince Charles.
Whilst the full 6-piece band is perfect for evening receptions with dancing firmly on the menu, Big Blue Moon also offer a 4-piece line-up aimed towards daytime background music and afternoon drinks receptions. If you're looking for something a little more chilled out for your event, please get in touch with your enquiry for a more affordable option. Very classy act. Great choice of songs with lots of crowd-pleasers and interesting song adaptations. We had the modern songs set done in a swing style and had people dancing all night. Highly recommended!
