Hire a Wedding String Quartet in Bedfordshire
Famed for their processional music, such as Pachelbel's Canon in D and Wagner's Bridal Chorus, our string quartets in Bedfordshire are always a popular choice for weddings. A garden party, graduation, awards ceremony, corporate or charity event, private dinner function or drinks reception would also be a suitable scene for a Bedfordshire string quartet to set.
The range of music our string quartets in Bedfordshire have mastered is remarkable; the mesmerising melodies of Debussy's Claire de Lune can often segue seamlessly into the far more upbeat Cliff Richard and the Shadows' Summer Holiday, or vice versa. Amid the Chopin, Vivaldi and Beethoven, you'll hear instrumental versions of popular songs by Michael Jackson, the Police, McFly, U2 and Muse, and a whole host of jazz standards, like Cole Porter's You're the Top and Anything Goes from his titular musical, and Henry Mancini and Johnny Mercer's Moon River, most famously sung by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's. Other pieces our Bedfordshire string quartets have selected from the world of film and television include the theme from Dad's Army, Blackadder, Disney's the Lion King, and various Andrew Lloyd Webber productions such as Cats! And the Phantom of the Opera. Our Bedfordshire sting quartets are also well-versed in traditional folk, celtic, Bollywood and Jewish wedding music, so if you're after a more specific genre of music, please let us know.
Bedfordshire String Trios and Duos
Your typical Bedfordshire string quartet will comprise two violinists, a violist and a cellist, which, when combined, produce the familiarly rich blend of pitches and tones you'd expect. If, however, your budget or venue requirements don't match this arrangement, our musicians can also appear as a string duo, a string trio or a string ensemble.
We cover most of the county, including Ampthill, Arlesey, Aspley Guise, Battlesden, Beadlow, Bedford, Beeston, Biggleswade, Dunstable, Flitwick, Kempston, Leighton Buzzard, Linslade, Luton and Shefford. Please feel free to contact us with any queries regarding a Bedfordshire string quartet.
