How much do Birmingham wedding DJs cost?
The price of a wedding DJ depends on a few factors such as the event type, length of booking, the DJ's experience and location of the venue.
The average price for a Birmingham-based DJ to perform at an evening wedding reception is £450-600. For this price, the DJ will typically provide music once the wedding breakfast ends up until the night's end.If you want to hire a DJ for a longer period or one with a unique specialisation, you may be looking at prices in the £800-1200 range.
What time will the DJ arrive?
DJs usually arrive at the venue one hour before the performance to set up and get ready. If your schedule requires the DJ to set up more than an hour in advance, just let us know the details, and we'll tailor your quote accordingly.
How long does a Wedding DJ perform for?
Most wedding DJs perform for 4-5 hours throughout the evening from around 7pm to midnight. Ultimately, your schedule will dictate how long you'll need to hire a DJ for.
Can we choose the music?
Absolutely, our Birminugham DJs are happy to liaise with clients prior to the date to ensure all your favourite songs are played on the night.
We always recommend that the DJ be given as much flexibilty as possible to adapt to the audience on the day.
What types of music do your DJs play?
A DJ's role is to get guests dancing all night long. Our Birmingham DJs perform a range of genres, and it largely comes down to your personal preference. Some of our DJs have specialised knowledge and expertise in certain genres, so they may be a better choice for your particular event.

Do your DJs offer additional services?
Many DJs offer additional services that you can add to your booking. Examples include additional equipment such as lighting, larger PA systems and additional performing musicians.
Do your DJs use vinyl turntables?
It depends on the DJ, and you’ll find that some offer traditional vinyl mixes, whereas most use a laptop and modern DJ controller. One isn't necessarily better than the other; both have pros and cons depending on the vibe you're going for.
What are DJ Live Bands?
If you want to entertain your guests in style, why not consider hiring one of our hybrid DJ Live bands? These acts fuse together electronic elements alongside real instrumentation.
