The roaring twenties saw jazz as the de rigueur for any lavish party or glamorous celebration, so it comes as no surprise that it featured as the musical backdrop to the renowned novel written by F. Scott Fitzgerald - The Great Gatsby.
Set in the ‘age of Jazz’, this epic piece of literature inspired the movie rendition directed by Baz Luhrmann which, not only captured the attention and imagination of a new generation, but also went on to inspire a whole genre of themed parties in reminiscence of this glitzy era.

This reinvention was popularised by the well-known band Postmodern Jukebox, who have over the years, written arrangements for a number of modern & popular songs in the style of both jazz and swing.
