How much does it cost to hire a live band on New Year's Eve?

Due to the high demand, bands and musicians typically charge a premium rate on New Year's Eve. Of course, prices can vary depending on how popular the bands are, but as a guide, you can expect musicians to charge at least 50% more than their usual rates in your area - sometimes up to double.

When should I book my New Year's Eve Entertainment?

We find there's often a surge of NYE bookings in early January as venue owners and companies look to rebook their previous band. However, most of our clients start thinking about their New Year's entertainment around September time.

Many smaller venues tend to wait until November or even December once they have a clearer idea of ticket numbers, but that often means many of our musicians are booked up. So if you want to have your pick of the crop, I highly recommend starting your planning as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
