Bristol Wedding Bands

There are a number of factors that can affect the price of a wedding band, but on average, you'll find our wedding bands range between £1200 and £2000.

Factors that affect fees can include the number of musicians in the band, travel expense, day of the week, time of the year, and time at the venue. For example, a band may charge slightly more to set up earlier in the day or stay past midnight.

In general, a party band will provide an all-inclusive quote to cover everything you'll need on the day. This usually includes the following:

• Set up and soundcheck from 5:30 pm/6 pm
• 2 x 60 minute or 3 x 40 minute live sets
• DJ Playlists throughout the evening
• Professional sound system (PA system, speakers etc.)
• Lighting rig
• Public Liability Insurance
• PAT tested equipment

All of our evening function bands include free playlists between their sets as standard. This means a laptop or device will be left to play throughout the evening until midnight.

If you'd prefer a dedicated DJ service, many of our party bands do also offer DJ sets for a small additional fee. This generally involves a member of the band taking requests, making announcements and mixing tracks throughout the evening.

Wedding bands usually base their quote on a standard arrival time of approximately 5:30 pm/6 pm. If the band are setting up in a separate room to the meal and speeches, they'll be able to set up straight away. Otherwise, the band will usually wait until the meal and speeches have finished avoiding any interruptions.

Your wedding band will be happy to fit in with your schedule. As a rule, we recommend that the band starts no earlier than 8:30 pm/9 pm to avoid peaking too early on in the evening.

Function bands typically take around an hour to set up and sound check. If you've booked a larger party band, you may need to allow between 90 minutes to 2 hours.

Yes, many of our cover bands also offer the option to add acoustic sets earlier in the day during the drinks reception. Just let us know exactly what you're after, and we'll send you a quote.
