About
Caribbean Strings are unlike any other string quartet on the scene. With their fabulously rich and colourful repertoire and all-Latin members, they specialise in playing light classical music from the Americas and Caribbean.
Caribbean Strings' vast repertoire includes traditional Cuabn Danzones, Mexican Boleros, and Argentine Tangos. Their Latin flavour is the ideal musical backdrop for summer weddings, corporate BBQs, tropical-themed parties, and festivals.
Each musician comes from South American heritage, and their experience is impressive: from performing with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Boca del Rio to graduating from the prestigious Conservatorio de Musica Jose Maria Ochoa to working regularly with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and the Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra.
