A lively four-piece from Edinburgh, The Sleekit Beasties deliver a high-energy set of contemporary floor-fillers with chart-topping pop covers. Featuring male vocals, bass, fiddle, guitar and drums, they take the classic Scottish ceilidh and blend seamlessly into hits by the likes of Ed Sheeran and Stevie Wonder.
With extensive live experience, including performances at Edinburgh’s Hogmanay and top venues in Glasgow and beyond, they provide the perfect live entertainment for weddings, graduations and corporate functions.
The Sleekit Beasties are always happy to accommodate your requirements, from taking on song requests for your first dance to additional ceilidh sets.
Everyone at the wedding commented on how much they enjoyed the music and we really enjoyed the balance between the ceilidh music and the cover songs. The merge between the ceilidh music and the more modern music whilst we were still ceilidh dancing went down very well. Quite a lot of our guests hadn't done a ceilidh before and Andrew was great at walking everyone through what they were meant to be doing. Thank you to The Sleekit Beasties for a brilliant evening!
