About
Afternoon In Paris provide tasteful and authentic jazz music at the highest level, covering everything from Miles Davis, Frank Sinatra and Nina Simone to Chet Baker, Sonny Rollins and Louis Armstrong. As well as their vast repertoire of traditional jazz songs, they're also able to play more contemporary jazz as well, adapting popular modern songs to a jazz aesthetic.
The band comprises the UK's finest musicians trained at some of the most respected universities in the world. Members of the band have performed with some of the biggest names in pop and jazz, including Leona Lewis and Charlotte Church, as well as performances with The BBC Big Band and Jamie Cullum for ITV, the BBC, Channel 4 and Sky Arts.
Afternoon In Paris are available to hire for a range of events from wedding drinks receptions and wedding breakfasts to corporate events, birthday parties, staff parties and more. Whether it's low-key background music or something more upbeat for dancing, the band have the right line-up to suit you.
I just wanted to say what fantastic feedback we had for Afternoon in Paris. They were great and what was really nice was that they used my grand piano-lovely to hear it played so well. The weather was awful, so we had to move indoors but all went well, despite so many people. We had a really good, crazy day, thanks a lot to the lovely start by the band.
