Biography
Twenties Again are a 1920s jazz outfit covering jazz classics such as 'Sweet Georgia Brown', 'Autumn Leaves', 'Fly Me To The Moon' and 'When You're Smiling'.
Along with traditional jazz standards, the band also cover popular tunes in a trad jazz style such as '...Baby One More Time', 'My Heart Will Go On' and 'You've Got A Friend In Me'.
A typical line-up consists of clarinet, banjo or guitar and either double bass or sousaphone - with the occasional duck whistle or pair of spoons thrown in for good fun!
Twenties Again play completely acoustically, making them ideal for roaming around at outdoor or walk-around events. Past events include the Royal Bath & West Show, the Tour de Yorkshire and Sunday lunches in Pickering's Forest & Vale Hotel.
The group were outstanding. Everyone was absolutely thrilled at the quality of the music provided and had nothing but positive comments to make. Thank you for making our celebration memorable. I've already been asked how I found them and the website I used.
