When booking a band through Bands For Hire, you'll be assigned a member of our team to guide you through every step of the planning process, from the initial booking right through to logistics on the day. In the meantime, we've put together the following section of FAQs to get you started.
How much do Lancashire wedding bands cost to hire?
On average, a live wedding band in Lancashire costs between £1000 and £1500. There are a number of factors that may affect your quote including travel expenses, early arrivals, late finish times, the length of time required to play and the time of the year.
As well as our popular wedding music bands, we also represent a wide range of soul bands and party bands suitable for larger weddings and events. Featuring multiple vocalists, sax and brass section, a party band can cost anywhere between £2000 and £5000.
What's included in the band's fee?
We've designed our wedding entertainment packages to include everything you could possibly need music wise: a full sound system, a lighting rig and DJ playlists through the band's PA system until midnight.
The quotes we offer cover all the band's travel expenses, and are calculated on the assumption that the band finish at midnight; if your venue allows you to finish later than this, and you'd like to hang on to your Lancashire wedding band a little longer, please mention this to us beforehand so we can factor the extra time into your quote.
Do your Lancashire wedding bands provide a DJ service?
All of our function bands in Lancashire provide free playlists between sets as standard. This can either be the band's playlist or something created by you.
If you'd prefer something a little more hands-on, many of our live wedding bands also offer a dedicated DJ service for a small additional fee. A manned DJ service involves a member of the band DJ-ing throughout the evening, allowing them to take song requests, make announcements and mix tracks on the fly.
