Hire a Wedding String Quartet in Leicestershire

As for what kind of event would be the ideal habitat for a Leicestershire string quartet, the possibilities are endless – any celebration that could do with a hint of glamour. Some examples of past events where our musicians have enjoyed success include garden parties, drinks receptions, graduations, awards ceremonies, private dinner functions, charity events and corporate events. Our string quartets in Leicestershire are particularly popular at wedding receptions and wedding processions – their versions of Beethoven's Ode to Joy and Wagner's Bridal Chorus are the stuff of legend.

Our Leicestershire string quartets are available to hire for events in Leicester, Loughborough, Market Harborough, Melton Mowbray, Hinckley and surrounding areas across the county.

Leicestershire String Trios and Duos

Traditionally, the constituent parts that make up a Leicestershire string quartet are two violins, a viola and a cello. This is the tried-and-tested method, perfected by Haydn in the 18th century, for producing the perfect blend of resonating tones for which the arrangement became famous. However, we at Bands for Hire appreciate not every venue or budget can allow for an entire quartet, so our recommended string quartets in Leicestershire are prepared to appear, with due notice, as a string duo, a string trio or a string ensemble.

Expect the unexpected when a string quartet in Leicestershire strikes up, for it won't all be Mozart this and Schubert that. Our recommended Leicestershire string quartets are equally fond of modern rock and pop artists, such as Lady Gaga, Guns 'n' Roses, the Darkness, Queen, ABBA, Arctic Monkeys and Oasis, and love to perform famous themes from the stage, cinema and television, like those of E.T, Thunderbirds, Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Cats!, Phantom of the Opera and Blackadder. You may well also be treated to some Bollywood, Celtic, traditional folk and jazz standards – so no matter how diverse your guests' interests may be, there's bound to be something our Leicestershire string quartet produces for everyone present. Please feel free to contact us with any queries.
