About
Brasileiro, the award-winning Anglo-Brazilian instrumental guitarist, is a genre-blending maestro inspired by Rodrigo y Gabriela, Tommy Emmanuel & Mike Oldfield.
Classically trained at the Royal College of Music in London, his flamenco & classical-infused style mingles with rock & pop. He's garnered recognition from Brian May and Toni Visconti, as well as making an impression on guitar icons such as George Benson.
Brasileiro has performed at esteemed festivals including Guitar Summit, Latitude, Edinburgh Fringe and Towersey Festival to name a few. He's also dazzled audiences at The Henley Festival, sharing the spotlight with The Pet Shop Boys and Chaka Khan.
I have been following Brasileiro since seeing him on TV's Guitar Star.....and that's exactly what he is.....a real 'guitar star'! He played at my husbands Memorial in January 2023 and made a very sad event a much easier situation to deal with. All of the guests told me how perfect the music had been, allowing conversations to take place but also allowing guests to sit and enjoy listening to Brasileiro's exceptional playing. He makes playing a guitar look so easy! I try to get to see him play as often as I can along with a few other people who also appreciate and enjoy his talent. Go and see him, you wont be disappointed!
