Enjoy a spiritual experience expressed wonderfully by the far eastern sounds of Thumri - gifted and highly professional artist who has studied at both Birmingham Conservatoire and in India.
Thumri's musical knowledge of eastern and western music is unmatched, making him a truly versatile artist. His ability to read western notation has enabled him to collaborate with the likes of Sir Paul McCartney, Noel Gallagher, Future Sounds of London, Sarah Brightman and The London Philharmonic Orchestra.
Thumri performs a wide range of genres, including jazz, jazz fusion, rock, pop, British folk, Bulgarian folk, funk, dance, plainchant, renaissance, baroque, Hundustani classical and contemporary chart hits. The perfect addition to an Indian wedding reception or ceremony, as well as corporate functions, private dinners and birthday parties. Thumri also offers the option of adding a Tabla player to his performances for the ultimate far Eastern sound.
