How much does it cost to hire a DJ in Essex?

Can your DJs work with Sound Limiters?
When booking a venue, you may be informed that they have special considerations for visiting musicians such as bands and DJs. The term 'Sound Limiter' controls the volume levels so as not to cause any noise pollution or disturbance to nearby properties. Please don't worry- when booking a DJ for your event, the music will be unaffected as sound levels can easily be managed and kept under control.
How Long Does Setup and Soundcheck take?
A DJ will need roughly 45-60 minutes to get set up and sound-checked.
What will the DJ wear?
DJs will come dressed to suit the event. For a wedding reception, expect smart/casual or pure casual / on-trend for a private party. Our DJs' styles are represented by how they appear on their profiles online.
Can DJs play outside?
If your event is due to take place outdoors and you'd like a DJ to perform, then they'd need to be under some form of cover such as a tent, tipi or marquee. This is mainly to protect their equipment from inclement weather.
Will I need to provide food and drink for the DJ?
Our Essex DJs politely request that they be supplied with soft drinks/non-alcoholic beverages during their stay. It's not uncommon to find that most bands and musicians will also require feeding on the day by providing them with a hot suppliers' meal.
Most venues and caterers are used to feeding suppliers, so they often have something they can quickly prepare, like lasagne or Shepard's pie.
