We hired Opal Strings for our drinks reception and wedding breakfast at our wedding in July. From the initial contact to the final performance, Opal were brilliant to work with.... We listened to multiple different string quartets before discovering Opal Strings, and we felt they were in a league of their own. They were extremely helpful and friendly; they took the time to answer all of our questions and also provided us with useful advice. On the day we were so impressed by the performance. The quartet are clearly highly skilled and the sound they produced was beautiful. We received several compliments from our guests who loved the music. The quartet have a wide repertoire of classic pieces, modern music, and tv/film scores - all of which are played skilfully. We had a mixture of classical music and film scores. We also commissioned them to play music not on their repertoire - this was fantastic as it allowed us to hear some of our favourite pieces.
