Opal Strings played at our outdoor wedding in June 2023, and they were absolutely fantastic! They played the pieces I selected while guests were being seated, the wedding ceremony and... for the drinks reception on the terrace! The range of repertoire was amazing, and we were able to pick a variety of different pieces, from classical all the way to modern pop music! We were able to listen to the quartet while taking professionals with guests and enjoying some champagne! Certainly the bridal march and the exit song, I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to come over and say hello and thank you! Everyone said how wonderful it was though and how much it set the scene at our wedding, it was so 'us'! Hearing the music as I entered the church had the exact effect as it did the first time we heard you in a shopping centre! Just lovely. They are extremely talented and I remember... getting watery eyed when I heard them play 'Concerning Hobbits' at a wedding open day (which is how we booked them), one of my favourite songs! So many of our guests came up to us and said how they felt like they were in Bridgerton hearing Vivid play and that it added a lot of magic during the reception drinks.
