We were absolutely thrilled to have this quartet at our wedding. She was very friendly and professional since our first contact and any requests were handled in such a personal... and calming manner. We asked for a specific song to be played at the start of the ceremony and it was outstanding. Not only did it make the atmosphere in the ceremony very emotional and romantic, but whole party were coming up to us to say how much they loved it and a few days later we are still getting from guests saying that it was one of the biggest highlights of the day. We requested both classical and modern pieces and it just set the tone each time, relaxed yet a wonderful feeling that got all the guests enjoying the day. We hired Opal Strings for our drinks reception and wedding breakfast at our wedding in July. From the initial contact to the final performance, Opal were brilliant to work with.... We listened to multiple different string quartets before discovering Opal Strings, and we felt they were in a league of their own. They were extremely helpful and friendly; they took the time to answer all of our questions and also provided us with useful advice. On the day we were so impressed by the performance. The quartet are clearly highly skilled and the sound they produced was beautiful. We received several compliments from our guests who loved the music. The quartet have a wide repertoire of classic pieces, modern music, and tv/film scores - all of which are played skilfully. We had a mixture of classical music and film scores. We also commissioned them to play music not on their repertoire - this was fantastic as it allowed us to hear some of our favourite pieces.
