Hire a Wedding String Quartet in Liverpool

Our string quartets in Liverpool are becoming in higher demand for wedding processions and wedding receptions - you'd be hard-pressed to find a more moving rendition of the Bridal Chorus by Wagner or Canon in D by Pachelbel, and, aside from the gorgeous music, the synchronicity between quartet members just oozes class and elegance. Despite the undeniable romantic overtones, our local Liverpool string quartets would also provide a stylish backdrop to a garden party, graduation, awards ceremony, private dinner function, drinks reception, charity or corporate event.

Liverpool Wedding Duos and Trios

Traditionally, our Liverpool string quartets comprise a cellist, a violist and two violinists – this is the well-balanced and full-bodied instrumental arrangement perfected by Haydn in the 18th century, and hasn't needed to be improved upon since. However, for the purposes of private event hire, our musicians must remain flexible and accommodating to suit a venue, budget and audience of any shape or size. So if you'd prefer a string duo, string trio, or even wish to expand the string ensemble to a small orchestra of 8 or more members, please don't hesitate to get in touch and we'll see what can be arranged.

The main objective of all of our string quartets in Liverpool is to bring as much joy as possible to each of your guests, and the general consensus is that this can be best achieved by performing a balanced mix of both classical and contemporary tunes. Their repertoires include Strauss's Blue Danube, Edvard Grieg's Morning Mood and Vivaldi's Spring; Eleanor Rigby by the Beatles, Whatever by Oasis, Wouldn't it Be Nice by the Beach Boys; and Gilbert and Sullivan's The Mikado, Andrew Lloyd-Webber's Cats! and Phantom of the Opera, and Disney's the Lion King and Aladdin.
