Traditionally, our Liverpool string quartets comprise a cellist, a violist and two violinists – this is the well-balanced and full-bodied instrumental arrangement perfected by Haydn in the 18th century, and hasn't needed to be improved upon since. However, for the purposes of private event hire, our musicians must remain flexible and accommodating to suit a venue, budget and audience of any shape or size. The main objective of all of our string quartets in Liverpool is to bring as much joy as possible to each of your guests, and the general consensus is that this can be best achieved by performing a balanced mix of both classical and contemporary tunes. Their repertoires include Strauss's Blue Danube, Edvard Grieg's Morning Mood and Vivaldi's Spring; Eleanor Rigby by the Beatles, Whatever by Oasis, Wouldn't it Be Nice by the Beach Boys; and Gilbert and Sullivan's The Mikado, Andrew Lloyd-Webber's Cats! and Phantom of the Opera, and Disney's the Lion King and Aladdin.
