Live jazz is guaranteed to increase the coolness of your event by roughly a billion per cent. This is true of family and friends events, such as garden parties, wedding receptions, surprise birthdays, wedding breakfasts, bar mitzvahs and bat mitzvahs as well as corporate events, charity events, summer balls, work Christmas dos, private dinner function and store openings.

All York jazz bands, great and small, are nonetheless equally flexible and accommodating. While we do have quite the smorgasbord of jazz bands in York, from solo jazz pianists, acoustic jazz duos and jazz trios to jazz quartets and full-on swing bands with horn sections and backing singers, we can also arrange for the line ups to be shifted around. Jazz means freedom – freedom of form, of expression, of style and classification. Something for the purists to talk about! And for everyone else, the performances will be breathtaking, and there'll be a few surprising covers thrown in for good measure (in the past we swear we've heard our York jazz bands playing Ed Sheeran, Daft Punk and Rihanna).
